ANZAC Day badges

In February we designed a patch with the intention it could be used to commemorate this year’s Anzac Day Parades. Due to the rapid spread of Covid19 Anzac Day Parades were cancelled throughout New Zealand. We thought about not proceeding with making a badge. However, we had a lot of customers and scout groups who we supplied with Anzac Day badges from previous years contact us about wanting a badge or monogram for this year. So we have proceeded with manufacturing a badge for Anzac Day 2020.

A different design again features on this year’s Anzac Day badge. In February we made a patch / badge for the Anzac Mounted Trooper Rehab Equine Unit, a group of ex-service personnel who use horses to help them with rehabilitation. This group has also been involved with re-enacting WW1 mounted horsemen demonstrations at recent Anzac Day and Armistice Day events in southern NZ. That patch pays homage to the Mounted Rifles in WW1 and we’re allowed to use the design on our Anzac Day badge, (with a few changes).  The Anzac Mounted Trooper Rehab Equine Unit will receive a donation from the sale of the Anzac Day 2020 badges.
